Whole-Wheat Skillet Croutons

Ingredients
- 4 slices whole-wheat country bread
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Pinch of thyme
Preparation
- Rub bread with garlic. Cube the bread.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bread cubes and cook, stirring often, until crispy. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme.
